Everything started with a promise of support as a thank you for arranging a charity gala event in Budapest, Hungary. It was the promise of support for making a piano concert happen, including an orchestra and additional program items for the first part of the concert event. This was the beginning of the close collaboration of Andreas Vogler (Germany) with the pianist Narihito Mukeda (Japan) and finally the beginning of Support Excellence as a support network for artists and creators on the one hand and as an artistic business on the other hand.
Andreas Vogler has a professional background as a journalist and a business manager, working many years also in Hungary where he still has an additional place of residence. However, born into a family with a strong interest in the arts and culture, especially in classical and church music, he feels closely connected to the arts already since his youth. Against this background he got frequently involved also in the set-up of cultural events and concerts already when he was a teenager and later when he was a student at the university. At that time it was part of his volunteer work in his community.
Continuing this involvement in arranging cultural events also later during his professional life, Andreas Vogler took over the honorary management of a charity gala which takes place on a yearly basis in Budapest, which led to the collaboration with Narihito Mukeda. During this cooperation it turned out that both persons are able to collaborate with each other in a quite complementary way while both share a deep passion for the arts and especially for classical music. Beginning with the development and realization of some joint artistic projects Andreas Vogler and Narihito Mukeda decided later to continue this work in the future within the framework of Support Excellence.
In this cooperation Andreas Vogler is mainly responsible for the areas of project and event management, logistics, business development, PR and sales.
Narihito Mukeda (Japan) is not only a very versatile and highly skilled pianist, who masters a large repertoire, but also a creative artistic thinker, equipped with a distinct sense for the development of attractive programs that thrill audiences - intellectually as well as emotionally. Additionally he is a well respected mentor for young talented artists.
Based on this excellent abilities he supported in the past Andreas Vogler on setting an attractive charity gala up. In return for that and based on the big success of this charity event he became one of the first artists to be supported by the at this time still solely as a support network functioning Support Excellence, getting help for the realization of an attractive German-Italian music program. However, already this specific collaboration between him and Andreas Vogler proved a powerful long-term potential and a solid substance based on a deep dedication and love to classical music and on a perfect match of project management skills on the one hand and artistic capabilities and knowledge on the other hand. Hence today Narihito Mukeda acts as the Artistic Director of Suppport Excellence, while being also involved at eye level in all the other affairs of Support Excellence.
Born in 1987 in Japan, Narihito Mukeda won various piano competitions in his youth, but moved to Europe for his studies, graduating as a solo pianist from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest in 2015. Since then he has performed regularly in Europe and Japan often together with renowned ensembles or artists, such as the principal clarinetist of the Berliner Philharmoniker, Wenzel Fuchs, the principal cellist of the Budapest Festival Orchestra Péter Szabó, the Hungarian violinist and Emmy Award winner Vilmos Oláh or with the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra.
